Dear Ald Smith,
I’ve called the 311 city services line and your office with no luck for years to have a tree trimmed in the parkway in front of my property at 2056 N Bissell Street. As taxes exponentially rise, city services and ward action exponentially decline.
I called both 311 and your office when I first purchased the home in the fall of 2013 . I called both 311 and your office again last year and both 311 and your office again this year just last week. Last year and this year your office did not return my calls.
It started out as small branches but now it is is moving up to larger branches and a few very large dead limbs that hang out over the street and my property. I know forestry is backed up but I would hope having the patience to allow them to catch up within a two year time frame is reasonable.
I am putting this request in writing to show the inevitable insurance underwriter my statement made to my ward alderman’s office and the City of Chicago.
Many regards in expediting this seventh request.
